TRRS #0775 – Blitzwolf 20W 3A Solar Charger

Solar & Wind EBooks

BangGood was kind enough to send me the Blitzwolf 20 W 3A solor charger. Many of the newer shortwave radios use USB 5 volts to charge which this charger can provide. Great for camping or emergency situations. The link to this charger on BangGood is:

Can someone explain to me how this is 20W? Specifications: Total maximum Output : 5V /3A Power: 20W. If it is 5V and 3A then the total power is 15W.

  2. On inplix page are instructions if you want to learn how to build it yourself just take them

  3. I've been looking for a cheap (good price) folding solar panel that'll charge a AA / AAA battery charger like the Goal Zero Guide 10 plus battery charger. Most reviews using a folding solar panel WITH a battery charger haven't been promising.

  4. Tom… One reason we are interested in this 20 W 3A solar charger, is that in addition to supporting / recharging USB equipment and their 5v power sources, we have "emergency LED light charge" ideas too. Remeasuring current needs eight LED lights, total LED drain would be about 500 to 700 ma, including LED usage plus a safety margin.

We are going to use it inside the house to power emergency LED lights that "appreciate" 5v supply, but we also need to recharge the common 5v supply…and yep, the 20 W 3A solar charger appears to do the trick and then some ?

Hung with the "Caribbean clips" the solar charger is possible to use in house, outside and when on trips.

  6. Tom… thank you for a nice and to-the-point review. Although I have heard vague mentions about them, my better half and I have had our eye on a unit like this, and your coverage has helped us cement our next step.
