  1. EL EL says:

    shouldn't a " ceramic head " pump be a better option ?

  2. Where is the pressure control knob. Membranes should not be subject to immediate pressure on startup or shut down.
The high pressure pump should be of the aluminum bronze variety for this application.

  3. Depronized says:

I guess you get salt buildup in the membranes? do you run the pumps backwards to flush it out from time to time?

  4. How much for the boat?

  5. jolllyroger1 says:

computers are not desirable when you go into places where nothing is available and finding basic things is difficult ….. besides computers are what we want to get away from right. ….

do you guys have any idea how to have reliable Internet connection out in the middle of the Pacific. …. I'm planning to be out to sea in few months but I will need reliable Internet to make money …. I can get by going from place to place but my preference is to always have Internet.

    any help from anyone

  6. Thank you Catchin Rays for such a detailed video on this increasingly important subject. How did you construct or buy your membrane vessel? My pump requires the vessels to handle 900 psi and I'm seeing they're 400$

  7. What a great video. What kind of feeder pump do you use exactly?

  8. Rob Davis says:

I'm really impressed with all your knowledge for fixing / rebuilding things. This really comes in handy when something goes wrong, specially when your out on the water far away from home.

  9. Dano Vido says:

Nice video dudes! Just looked at another video about flexible solar panels you can walk on…might be a good option so you can walk and jump on them without losing sailboat real estate.

  10. MrkStphn91 says:

what exacctly does a water maker do?

does it take saltwater from the sea and turn it into a fresh water for us humans to drink

  11. Take me with you. just don't get me killed i can't swim.

  12. Neil Pickett says:

    Drinking Stella, good man.

  13. Rick Little says:

what are the specs? on the low pressure pump? i've been researching on making a desalinator rather than spend well over 3k plus for this type system. not much info out there, so thanks a ton for this video~ !

  14. so jealous of your boat

  15. Gracana says:

Why would tap water destroy it?

  16. Muigon says:

Good work on the video keep them coming.

  17. And were are you Launching from?

  18. blake lewis says:

Awesome work, keep the videos coming!

  19. bendspot says:

Impressive. Please keep the videos coming. Really would like more info on electrical stuff you are doing. Like wire gauge and how you connect the solar to your battery bank and regulate it. Great video please share more!
