Replacing an RV faucet isn’t too different than replacing one in a regular house, especially since we’re installing ordinary household faucets. We’ll show you …
That is a nice unit! I am convinced that, as part of their training, the ones that decorate RVs, are locked in a Walmart home-decor department for 40 days and not allowed to sleep. I will want to do this someday, as my units are all UGLY plastic. Again useful!
We are in the process of getting rid of everything to go full time rving. Needless to say it is a bit overwhelming! Can I ask you what tools you keep in your toolbox? I have a 5 foot tall roll around full of tools but want to make sure I keep only what I need. This downsizing is hard and a bit overwhelming and we have to be out of the house in 10 days but we are looking forward to it!
Nice I did that in my RV you should do a backsplash on it as well make it look nice and protect it from the water splash
nice job that looks great
Damnit guys. you are making me spend money again…😋 I couldn't resist the upgrades myself at Costco. Will be great in my trailer. I have a love hate relationship with Costco 😒
I think this guy is a cheapskate
Outstanding. Very professional how-to video. Thanks for posting. I will subscribe!
I have a complaint ….. I showed your video to my wife, now I have $350 of new faucets in the queue to install in our motorhome. I couldn't find the self installing versions, so I have plumbing work to do as well. 🙂 Thanks, great video as usual.
Very nice instructional video! It seems every plumbing task I tackle requires 3 trips to the hardware store! You mentioned that you got your new faucets at Costco. Do you recommend a Costco membership for RV travel?
Better not show the wife this video, I'll have another project and plumbing isn't my favorite.
Wow! You guys are so good at explaining everything. I feel like I could even attempt this on my own. I really enjoy your videos. I've learned so much just by watching them. Thank you.
You have Two (2) bathrooms? In your RV?
Excellent choice in faucets! Funny when I moved to the EU they are just marketed as Grohe, same high quality product. Must be their export product. The best chrome work around and very resistant to some harsh cleaners!
Nice looking faucets! Our home & RV are decorated in more of a traditional style. The more I see people do these updates, the more I think I need to change our styles. LOL It sure looks easier to clean and maintain.
VERY Helpful as usual! Thanks!
Another clean job and well presented video.
Camera work had to have been hell on that one !!. This video is so well done and detailed, I feel like I'm the one who did the job, not you.
I bought 3 of the exact same fixture from Costco and the issue many people had with the hot/cold water lines being identically marked. If you let the hoses dangle in a relaxed position everything hooked up correctly. This is the best install video of the Hansgrohe Metris faucet I have seen. Thanks for the video.
Hi Guys! I just reset my stainless kitchen sink (clip-mounts had rusted out and seal was compromised) so I replaced my kitchen faucet at the same time also. I am considering installing Hepvo valves under my sinks to eliminate all trace odors of gray water. Are you familiar with these and what do you think if so? Would love to have you try it first. ; ) lol
( PS I bought some designer teflon tape named Blue Monster and love love love it. Threw out all of my generic stuff and am using it on all of my fittings in and out, just fyi.)
Great job and video!
Another top job gents. The great thing about this kind of video is that it can also be applied to a brick home too, not just the RV
Nice job… i just did the same on my bathroom sink…
Great video guys. Not only instructional but it shows how small items can keep your rig upgraded and feeling new. Stay safe.
Another great and informative video. Step by steps are invaluable. Thx Peter & John.
great geeks video. always enjoy
This channel is amazing, has anyone ever told you that you have the perfect voice over voice. The way you do everything is so awesome. I love RV channels like this when they show upgrades and how they do them . A+ on the video. Keep them coming.
One of the best plumbing videos I've ever seen. Well done.
Another great video! Thanks!
love your vids make more plz
Well done, Guys!… as usual.
Great informative video, and dialog. (What a voice!) I'm impressed you had room for you AND the camera in the cabinet at the same time! Can't wait for the next project.
You are awesome! Love your videos!!
Excellent video guys. Doing this soon.
We have no plans on changing our faucet any time soon we just like listening to your voice Peter, lol. We know where to turn to in the future though. Thanks Guys
Great camera work and lighting. Only thing I would add, especially since it's so easy in an RV, is to partially draining down the hot and cold water. Open hot and co!of spigots then go outside to the wash station use the gravity of both the hot and cold water to pull air into the lines supplying the vanity. and allow gravity
