How to install 4100 Watt Solar Panel Array: Solar Off-Grid System Installation Video 22

Installation of an array of 18 230Watt {solar lights} Panels, wired in 6 series or “strings” of 3 panels each. These panels were mounted to roof with a UniSolar Rail Mounting System. We have used “weebs” to ground the panels to the rail and ran a grounding wire to connect the rails.

UniSolar Roof Rack and Fast Jack Mounting

  4. You can make it yourself, just loook and learn from INPLIX .

  5. My works too. I used Inplix handbooks and build it without any problems.

  6. Your bonding your rails not grounding your rails. and install the grounding under the array not along the side.

  7. you should cut your rails on the ground. I never install an array and cut the rails after the panels are installed on them.

  8. Terrible wire management and your rail spicing isn't uniform. sloppy

  9. No PPE on the roof and why penetrate a metal roof when a s-5 clam p could have been used

    Hello! I've seen a single bare grounding wire that is installed underneath the panels and bolt to each frame. Did you do this? I'd understand this could be unnecessary since you installed the weeb clips. Am I right? Congrats for you nice work!

  14. If I were to spend that much money on solar panels I would have gone for monochrystaline instead of poly to get more for my money, whilst leaving more space on my roof.

  24. Not a bad system a little excited for a small system but well done. Good air flow under there solar doesn't work well in the heat so u did an alright job for air circulation 

  25. I want to know the voltage rating of a single module! can you please elaborate a bit that how 6 modules in series resulted in 48 volts when connected to the inverter?
