You can achieve the same result with a couple of op-amps and some hysteresis. No microcontroller required.

My question is, will the light sensing detect infrared, say in the 850nm or 940nm frequency? I have a little task to do BRUHAHAHAHAHA. No seriously though, I really would like to to a project with this exact type of stuff, just with infrared.

I was actually about to buy this from your website after seeing this but when I saw the price… you are ridiculously greedy. 150$ for something that costs you less than 30$ to make. 80$ for the wooden parts only?! really? charge 9000$ as well, why not right?
